NODA AWARDS

Now, I know it’s not quite the Oliviers or the Tonys, but I’m over the moon to be nominated for a NODA Award for my stint as Darryl Van Horne in ‘The Witches Of Eastwick’.

I put SO much time & work into the role (including growing my hair for 5 months), so it’s great to get a bit of recognition.

I’m in the ‘Best Male Lead in a Musical’ category, against some very tough competition, including my good friend, Michael Cosgrove, who has been nominated for his star-turn in ‘Carousel’, so I’m not expecting to win…but, of course, I would be chuffed if I did.

I’d like to pass on my congratulations to the rest of Preston Musical Comedy Society for their other nominations. It really was a fantastic production, and a real privilege to be a part of. I hope I get the chance to work with the company again.

I’d also like to congratulate my other friends who have been nominated in their respective categories, including Emma Norman, Danielle Wrench, Derek Winward, Sarah Cosgrove and Captain Jimbo Thomas. Fingers crossed for you all…

The Awards Ceremony is on January 16th, so I’ll keep you posted with how I get on!

Wish me luck… 🙂
